1957 German Cross in Silver with miniature

1957 Variant of the Wartime German Cross in Silver,
a 1970’s 1980’s manufactured award in almost immaculate condition.
A service award to serving members of the German Military post 1957 who were still in service and had been issued the original award during the 1939 to 1945 war period. The swastika has been replaced on the item with the War Merit Cross.

Together with a matching period miniature stick pin that corresponds with this award along with the 1914 Iron Cross 1st and 2 nd classes, War Merit Cross 1st Class and Frederick August Cross 1st and 2nd classes.

These early example are far more favorable than those still made today.
