Original WW2 Imperial Japanese Army WWII Type 98 Sun Pith Helmet

This is a great original service worn example.This is a textbook olive green example and still retains its original form with internal bamboo wicker construction. Comes with original cloth army star insignia to the front. The helmet has the original suspension system and original cotton chinstrap. Well marked original labels inside with kanji characters.
Condition is definitely worn, showing wear around the rim, with overall staining and dirt. These helmets were often soaked with water so that they would have a cooling effect. They were designed to be worn with or without a steel helmet underneath.
