Hans-Georg Borck (24 September 1921 – 8 May 2011) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. also decorated with the German Cross in Gold and 4 grades of the tank destruction badge. Hans-Georg Borck was captured by American troops in April 1945 and released in November 1945.
