British WW2 Paratrooper Helmet (HSAT)

(Helmet Steel Airborne Troops).
Steel helmet with a thick vulcanized fiber band. Original green painted finish. The band of sorbo rubber for padding is visually worn but still pliable, ( worn looking but not damaged. The brown leather liner maker marked “BMP” ( Briggs Motor Bodies Ltd of Dagenham ) and dated 1942. Three point khaki web chinstrap assembly with leather chin cup.

Overall a good original untouched example. Highly sort after helmet.
