Germany WW1 Oldenburg Frederich August Cross, First Class

A rarer screw back version. A slightly convex blackened cross pattée with a laurel wreath between the arms and 'FA' in the centre within a circle. There is a crown on the upper arm and '1914' on the lower arm. Reverse with two part screw plate arrangement. The top plate marked “DRGM” and registered number. An outstanding example of this much sought after award.
