Rare WW1 German War Wounded Hospital Gas Mask Canister

A very item indeed and most probably would not even recognize it. Original green painted tin canister for housing the army hospital gas mask for the wounded. Still has the Geneva Red Cross and contents label to the front and the contents instruction paper inside the lid. Overall dents and wear to the paint consumate with age. Canister only, no gas hood included.
