German WW2 Luftwaffe LKpW101 Winter Flying Helmet

The Luftwaffe leather winter flying helmet, specifically the LKpW101, was a standard issue helmet for pilots and aircrew during WWII. It was designed for cold weather use, using dark brown leather with a shearling or sheepskin lining for warmth and comfort. These helmets also featured molded leather earcups with internal earphones, a throat microphone, and other features like goggles and oxygen mask attachments.
Overall good condition. Light wear but no damage. The outer black sling and inner lining fleece in nice soft and supple condition.Complete with cloth identification label.
