British 1930’s - WW2 Army Mounted Troopers Great Coat

Coat, Great, Drab Mixture, Service Dress, Mounted Services.

Basically a Pattern 1915 Other Ranks Mounted Coat in khaki wool. Plain civilian style flat buttons.Full White blanket wool lining. An indication of not being a Great War made item when material was in shortages. The inside ordnance label marked “Greatcoat Mounted Contract No. 292/16/3” With broad arrow acceptance mark. The date has worn off. So with that I’m suggesting it’s an inter war or WW2 period example. No rear adjusting belt. Heavy khaki wool with white cotton lining.

Near unworn, unissued condition.
