A nice service worn example in RAAF blue serge wool. Oxidised RAAF other ranks hat badge and black bakelite side flap buttons. On the inside makers lapel ( 1942 dated) is also a hand written regimental number. This member does indeed confirmed as RAAF Lac 1942-1946.

The crown has been sewn in a way by the wearer to keep the cap crown more taught and closed together. This is frequently seen on the these caps and adds a nice touch of personailty. The inside lignin with soiling from service wear.
