A dry nice clean example. The bayonet dated 6/43 and factory mark “OA” for the Orange manufacture factory. Working locking stud. Original bluing to the blade, cross guard and pommel, orignal wooden grips. The scabbard fitted with a 1941 dated pattern 1915 frog in very good condition with “D arrow D” ordnance stamp. A Regimental number letter stamped in the belt loop on the front and also heavily scratching into the reverse. This is traced to a to a SGT of the 2/7 Field Company Engineers.

Comes with its matching “Mangrovite” 1943 dated scabbard.
