German WW2 Field Tailored Southern Front Army NCOs M36 Combat Tunic.

A well made but exceedingly nice Wehrmacht Heer summer tunic made from a Soviet “Splash Palatka” (Zeltbahn). A lightweight summer cotton drill material four pocket tunic with superbly matching field made NCO slip on shoulder boards for Sergeant of artillery, a matching mid -late war embroidered breast eagle with hugely appealing ware and fading. The interior, revealing the true olive green color of the canvas drill, material the outside with a hugely appealing amount of wear through repetitive washing, giving the material a really nice tan summer white look. Has all of its zinc pebbled buttons. Has continental field gray collar in the M36 style with artillery, other ranks collar litzen and even has a thin tresse applied around the collar. Provision for multiple breast awards, this tunic has seen some considerable wartime service and a great addition for a display for southern Russia, Italy, Corsica, etc.
