Australia WW1 Patten 1915 Large Haversack

Khaki duck canvas with leather straps and buckles tabs. A well worn example with overall heavy soiling and a damaged rear shoulder strap attachment tabs. One tab is secure but has a rivet pulled out from the auxiliary strap buckle, this still holding on firmly. On the other tab one rivet is missing but the other three are holding firm. To the interior of the flap can be seen some hand written initials along with the faint remains of the “CGHF” stamp , the ordnance acceptance stamp and the date, either 1916 or 1918.

Still able to be secured easily to web equipment and displayed in the normal wearing order.
