German WW1 Death Card

German World War I death cards, known as Sterbebilder, were memorial cards typically created by a soldier's family and distributed at funerals. These cards served as an obituary, prayer card, and keepsake to honor the fallen soldier.

A Private in the 8th Reserve ( Bavarian) Field Artillery Regiment. Died of wounds in a field hospital 6th April 1916.
