A WW2 post 1942 refirbished WW1 example. The blade maker marked “Lithgow” and dated 1917. The blade , pommel and cross guard all re-blackened. The cross guard stamped “5 MD “ (Western Australia)
The re-fitted wooden grips marked “Slaz42”. Working locking stud and comes with its leather scabbard “Mangrovite 44” leather scabbard. Overall a very nice wartime refirbished example.
