Rare 1950 Dated Australian Army General’s Visor Cap

Australian Army Generals No.1 Dress Visor Cap. A rare 1950 dated example in dark blue Barathea wool with scarlet cap band. Kings crown bullion hat badge, black leather chinstrap with brass AMF side buttons. Black vinyl visor with synthetic gold bullion oak leaves. The top fitted with a removable khaki cotton field cover allowing the cap to be worn with the winter khaki wool or summer khaki cotton tuinc. British made to Australian military order with an oil cloth covered British tailor label and marked with “D “ arrow “D” and dated 1950. Not named unfortunately and could be any one of the then serving Australian army Generals in 1950. Overall wonderful condition and very rare.
