1937 Rowntree Coronation Chocolate Tin

Coronation Souvenir tin from 1937, made by Rowntree & Co Ltd, of York, England. This vintage chocolate tin was a Commemorative for The Coronation of George VI and his Consort Queen Elizabeth, after the Abdication of his brother. The tin is silvered with twin Royal portraits from paintings , in oval frames, flanked by the Royal Cypher and the dedication: "Coronation souvenir 1937". The base bears details of the manufacturer.

The condition is very toned and General age wear.

It measures 6 inches by 2.5 inches by 0.5 inches.
