RAAF blue wool beret with black leather trim. Fitted with a Womens Air Training Corps white metal and enamel hat badge.

The Women's Air Training Corps (WATC) was a voluntary, civilian, Australian, all-female organisation formed in July 1939 to train women for support roles in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) during World War II. Led by Mrs. Mary Bell, the WATC provided vital training in mechanics, signaling, and, in some cases, flying before the 1941 establishment of the official Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force (WAAAF).
