WW1 Turkish Army Officers M1909 Infantry Sword

German style dove hilt single stirrup hilted sowrd. Plain brass stirrup hilt with wire bound ray skin grip , this wearing to the wood underside. The brass with heavy tone. Likely German manufacturered. The nickel plated steel blade ink good clean condition and acid etched with a filigree trophy of arms. The maker “ Vahram Tagirian” a CONSTANTINOPLE retailer and distributor, to the back strap.

Nickel plated scabbbard with areas of age stain and light corrosion and fitted with two hanging rings.

Comes with the correct gilt and maroon flecked bullion tassel, also probably Gemma’s made.
Overall length in scabbard 920mm.
