British Late Georgian Royal Naval Officers Sword

c.1805-1830's

A small lightweight sword. Gilt single stirrup hilt with much of the gilding remaining. The stirrup guard with a tassel ring attached. The langet with a Georgian or Victorian crown atop and anchor. The grip with wire bound ray skin. A thin 15mm wide blade once blued with filigree etching now almost entire covered in a light pitting that requires a good clean. No makers marking or royal cyphers.

No scabbard.
