A collection of relating documents to Heinrich Kremski 253rd Artillery Regiment. Born 27.9.1920 and Died of Wounds 10.3.1942 on the Eastern Front.

Includes a letter for his commanding officer to his father detailing how his son was wounded in action by artillery fire in March 1942 and passed away in a Field Hospital in Lammy, Russia a day later.

Award certificate for the Eastern Front Medal ( 10th Battery Artillery regiment 253, at which time Kremski had already been killed.

The original Eastern Front medal.

A typed note that accompanied a memorial document sent to his father by the Division in 1943. ( Memorial document not included. And an accompanying typed letter that must have been sent out with the award of the Eastern Front medal in proud memory in 1944.

Lastly a small original black and white photograph pf Kremski's grave not long after burial with a Birch post cross.

Feldpst envelope addressed to his father (presumably the one that carried the letter).

Each with a translation in English and set in a folder for display.
Certainly there is more scope for further research on this unit and its combat action leading to the death of this soldier.
