WW2 Sovenired Japanese Army Vehicle “Star” Badge

Large copper / brass star with single screw post to the reverse. Mounted on card for display ( Removable). Comes with an original hand written note from the Australian digger (2/15 field Ambulance), who souvenired it stating that is was taken from a Japanese military vehicle at Hansa Bay, located on the north coast of Papua New Guinea, in Madang Province, between Madang and Wewak.
