Australia WW2 A Pair Of Named RAAF Officers Caps

Two UK made caps named to the same officer.

RAAF Officers Service Dress Visor Cap. Dark blue wool serge with black mohair cap band and officers kings crown bullion hat badge. Black leather chinstrap secured by to black bakelite side buttons.
Brown leather sweatband. UK made with the typical quilted lining and "Burberrys" makers label. The label named to the original wearer. Retains a great shape and although service worn it is with no damage except for a small moth hole on the underside of the visor.

RAAF Officers side cap (Other ranks pattern). To the front flap two black bakelite RAAF buttons and fitted with a two piece gilt brass Officers cap eagle (clearly a UK made example). Black cotton lining with a very faded label that still has the original wears name and service number hand written. Has a very salty washed out appearance that only repetitive service use can give.

Both caps consistent with manufacture in the UK.
Further research of RAAF service required.
