Australia Pre WW1 Army Field Service Cap

A very rare example in excellent condition. Light brown wool with two brass Edward VII buttons to the front folding flap. The interior with a brown cotton lining and clearly maker marked by the Commonwealth Government Clothing Factory. Near unissued condition.

These were popular with the pre -war militia army as well as the Senior Cadet Corps.

Extremely rare and highly desirable.
