British / Commonwealth WW1 "Brodie" Steel Helmet

7.5 million "Brodie" helmets were manufactured, designated "Helmet, Steel, MkI"
This example is the more common pattern which is identified by the rim and the rubber donut that was mounted underneath the felt crown, these modifications were implemented from around June 1917 together with a slightly improved liner material.

Original khaki green painted finish. Three is some wear to the leather chinstrap at the point of attachment.
