Rare British Boer War Army Slouch Hat

A superb and classic example of the Boer War slouch hat. Textbook typical salmon colour fur felt with an oversized broad turn up side fixed with a copper press stud. The original brown leather buckled leather strap around the crown. No chinstrap. Atherstone Army Contractors makers mark stamped in gold lettering to the original brown sweatband. Shows much appealing age and service use with no damage.
