WW2 French Army Colonial Officers Uniform

c.1930's-40's Colonial khaki cotton drill four pocket tunic with brass flaming bomb buttons. removable cuff rank in gilt lance for Captain. The collars of khaki brown wool with officers gilt bullion No.27 and black chevrons for Engineers or Artillery.

Khaki cotton officers side cap with matching black piping. This also with officer gilt rank insignia but actually not matching to the tunic as the rank is for a Lieutenant.

Together with Khaki cotton jodhpur's or pantaloon trousers.

The uniform comes complete with a French made set of binoculars, Brown leather single strap sam. Brown style belt and a French brown leather pistol holster with attached cross strap.

A most unusual uniform. All in a worn state of wear consummate with service in the colonies.
