German WW2 DEUTSCHER VOLKSSTURM WEHRMACHT ARMBAND

This textbook example of a standard issue Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht Armband, constructed on screen printed cotton featuring a wide horizontal black strip in the center with white printed script “Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht” (German People’s Militia Armed Forces), flanked on either side by a white National Wehrmacht Eagles, with two white lines above and below, with a red horizontal border on the top and bottom edges. The armband was worn by civilians that fought alongside the military between October 1944, and the end of WWII.

The armband is nicely joined and has no holes or damage and is in good condition.
