Victorian Period Special Constabulary Truncheon

A blue painted turned wooden truncheon. Approx 470mm. The ribbed grip remaining unpainted. A yellow hand painted "VR" Royal cypher and "SC" (Special Constabulary) to the top section.

Overall light wear to the pained finish as expected consummate with age. Otherwise a fine example.
