German WW2 Army Other Ranks Tropical Tunic -1944

A very near unissued original Army other ranks tropical M43 (3rd Pattern) tunic.

Olive green cotton material. Five button front with two chest pockets , both unpleted and with a straight edge pocket flap as per the 3rd pattern tropical tunic. Two unpleased hip pockets. All fitted with the correct blue /gret pebbled alluminium detachable buttons ,all fitted with a correct wire spring ring.

Tropical Bevo machine woven other ranks breast eagle. Bevo late war pattern tropical other ranks collar litzens. There is some wear and a small light repair to the material directly above the breast eagle as well as wear above the collar litanies indicating they might have been reapplied? This is not detracting but must be mentioned. The left arm with a tropical pattern rank insignia for Schutze ( Senior Private).

To the interior area above the field dressing pocket the original ink stamps for size and depot markings as well as being dated 1944.

Provision for detachable shoulder straps but missing these and coulee even be replaced with continental wool ones of any army branch of service.

These M43 Tropical uniforms were many issued for the Italian Front in 1944 and were used until the surrender.

Overall a very good, near unissued army tropical feldbluse.

Sold purely as an item of historical education to genuine collectors , museums and historical organizations.
