German WW2 Early Pre -War Army Artillery NCO's Semi Ornamented Service tunic

An absolutely outstanding example of an early pre war war, pre 1936 tunic.

This tunic pre dates the M36 service tunic by a a couple years. This pattern of tunic was both a service dress and full dress tunic known by collectors as the semi-ornamented tunic. The tunic although undated probably dates from about 1933-34. It has the very first army pattern Bevo woven NCO pattern breast eagle (silver bullion machine woven on field grey).

Field grey tricot wool tunic with early 8 white metal pebbled button front and two buttons to the reverse skirt as belt ramps. Two plated breast pockets and two concealed hip pockets, both textbook examples of a prewar tunic.
The front button seam fitted with a semi ornamented red waffenfabe (artillery) wool piping. A green stand and fall collar. Early upturned and broad width NCO silver tresse to the collar (later thinned down and changed to the bottom edge of the collar). To each collar again an ornamented pair of other ranks collar litzen backed in waffenfarbe red for artillery.

The fixed in shoulder boards in green wool and red (artillery) waffenfarbe, silver tresse and rank pips for an Oberfeldwebel. A silk/rayon fully lined interior.
To the top left chest a small loop, provision for a medal set or ribbon bar.

An outstanding example in absolutely exceptional condition.
