A Spectacular Victorian / Edwardian Rifle Brigade Regimental Medal

A lovely impressive regimental medal in silver gilt. A small silver and gilt obverse with lion atop a Queen Victoria crown, surrounded by wreath and crossed rifles. A wrapped scroll with “Militia Eight 1892”. The silver hallmarked reverse and hand engraved “Lt Col A B Williams 7th Bn Rifle Brigade. General service ribbon with 17 sterling silver clasps , each with hand engraved dates 1893-1909. A double claw buckle to the top of the ribbon completes this wonderful special presentation medal.
