German WW2 "Alpaka" Battle of Noway 1940 Cigarette Case

A fine looking commemorative case. Marked "Alpaka" on the side push button. The obverse with a detailed map of Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
The reverse with a stippled pattern.

The interior lids hand engraved " Kriegs Weihnacht 1940 ( War Christmann 1940) and " Gewidmet von den Mitarbeitern des nachschusszweiglagers Sandes " ( Dedicated by the members of the Sandes reserve station).

The other side with names and ranks of six other ranks and NCO's.

Sandes is a city and municipality in Rogaland, Norway. It lies immediately south of Stavanger, the 4th largest city in Norway, and together the Stavanger/Sandnes area is the third-largest urban area in Norway.
