A highly attractive lapel badge in gilt brass and enamels.

The Royal Empire Society Fellow badge is a vintage, circular gilt-metal and enamel lapel insignia used between 1928 and 1958. It features a red enamelled crown on top, a blue enamelled outer ring inscribed "THE ROYAL EMPIRE SOCIETY - FELLOW," and a central motif depicting crossed enamel Union Jack flags. Maker marked on the reverse " Stokes Melbourne".
