WW2 USAAF Bancroft Flighter Crusher Cap

A true crusher cap in the very essence. The cap being able to be folded very small with a flexible headband and very flexible brown leather visor. O/D brown wool with officers cap band. It has brown leather chinstrap held on by gilt side buttons , has nice offices gilt metal hat badge.

overall wear to inside of the liner consummate with service use, and as usual the water proofing to the inside crown now well soiled. Maker Bancroft Flighter on the leather sweatband.
