Australia WW1 1918 Dated Slouch Hat - NOW SOLD

A very rare , original, and extremely desirable 1918 dated example. Khaki fur felt with Three fold khaki cotton puggaree.
The original leather sweatband very clearly marked “C Anderson and Co. Ltd. 7. 1918”.
Has an Australian made Rising Sun hat badge fixed to the left side brim. Missing the hook and eye side fastening and chinstrap. Obvious wear and soiling to the bottom edge of the Puggaree.

A beautiful worn example. The panicle item of most WW1 collections in this country and abroad.
