Australia WW2 Army Other Ranks Service Dress Visor Cap

This is a fine example of the army other ranks service dress cap, this model with the leather reinforced peak and often called the drivers pattern cap. Khaki wool body with brown leather chin, strap, oxidized AMF side buttons and collar size rising sun hat badge to the front. This cap retains a lovely shape and the interior lining also in very good condition. The sweatband with a stitched repair to the front section . The lining with a Victorian factory makers mark and dated 1943.
