French WW1 Lebel Bayonet with Wire Cutting Attachment

The M1886 Label bayonet was the French mainstay during WWI and many were still in service at the Fall of France in 1940. The Lebel also saw extensive use worldwide by native troops in the French colonies.

The M1886 introduced the distinctive cruciform blade, which remained a feature of most French bayonets until 1956.

A scarce 1950’s Egyptian Hakim bayonet to fit the 8mm Hakim service rifle. Hilt with bolt retained wooden grip scales has release catch to the lower rear of the pommel. WW1 Imperial German S84/98 Sawback Bayonet

A rare sawback version of the S84/98 bayonet as issued to pioneers and NCO’s. It retains its original wood grips in VGC. The blade and other metal parts retaining much of the original bluing. The blade is maker marked Gottlieb Hammersfahr. There is no date on the back strap. There is imperial proof marks to the pommel , back strap and scabbard. Working locking stud.

Australia Inter-war Pattern 1907 Bayonet Scabbard

A rarer 1920’s example of the “2nd” type pattern 1907 scabbard. This with a straight locket and small round frog stud. The locket is heavily painted in khaki green paint and hiding any markings. The chape with a Lithgow star. The making and dat on the reverse of the leather body of the scabbard has also worn away.
