A fine little souvenir brooch made from the German zeppelin airship L15 ( LZ48) that was shot down in the Thames estuary during a raid on London 1/4/1916.
Aluminum top bar engraved “Portion of Zepp” and fitted with a brooch pin reverse with a pendant cross in aluminum and also engraved “ L15 Strafed in Thames 1-4-16”. Approx 30mm x 30mm. read more

An original Boer War King's Colonials Imperial Yeomanry "B" Squadron (British American) brass regimental cap badge in excellent condition. Full size hat, badge, nickel plated with enamels to Cran and scroll. These were repeatedly used at the IOOF headquarters in London, and probably other senior AIF headquarters as menu holders. Unfortunately, this example has had one of the rifles, broken off at some stage and resold it the solar has now come loose and needs reattaching. read more
