An original case of issue c.WW1 or WW2 period.
Composed of wood and purple leatherette, exterior presents an impressed kings crown on the top in gilt, the interior is composed a crème coloured silk lid with a velvet medalbed, measures 75.19mm (w) x 128.52mm (h), 20.08mm (d), hinge and clasp functional. The lid now with extended light exposure and now with a pinkish colour tone.

Made from a 20mm round. The base a large 40mm brass nut style. The top of the case is removed to reveal a cigarette lighter.
