An interesting souvenir of the early campaign in the Western Desert. A section of painted canvas souvenired from an Italian Bomber. And as written “Savoy 79 Italian Bomber Shot down in Western Desert July 1940 Egypt”.

WW2 Battle Damaged Relic Japanese Type 90 Helmet

A very much a relic example of the type 90 Imperial Japanese army helmet. Shell only , no liner. Overal rust and corrosion but all stable. Still retains the Imperial Army star to the front. Clearly shows battle damage with a blast fractures and a shrapnel hole.

British Napoleonic War 1796 Pattern Officers Light Cavalry Sword

A good example of the officers pattern with leather grips. A lovely bright broad blade with "Gill is warranted" acid etched into the blade.
The words "Arthur Saltma...." are also acid etched into the blade backstrap. These are very faint but can still be seen in the right light. A possible original owner or retailer?. Certainly more research needed there.
