A well aged example. All original parts inc Wooden handle and metal end cap, holed for smoke ventilation. Belt loop to the grenade head. Any markings that were once there are now well worn off. Overall heavy pitting, tone and age.

Mid - Late war example. Commercial purchase printed type. The actual stitches were substituted for printed kanji characters, probably “chikara” meaning strength which were supposed to resemble stitches.
