WW2 US Presidential Medal Of Merit
Instituted in 1942. 1942-1952 Issue. In bronze gilt with blue, white and green enamels, measuring 38.8 mm (w) x 61.5 mm (h) inclusive if its wreath suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon with brooch back, near mint. The rim impressed “VHB” (Blackington Co. makers mark, a period US medal manufacturer of the time).
