A rare Vietnam war period Air ranks service dress visor cap in light blue. This cap is in overall excellent condition with hardly anywhere at all. A fine looking example of a staff officers service dress visor cap in excellent condition. Khaki wool body with scarlet cap band and staff officers bullion badge. Nice condition leather chinstrap with oxidized AMF side buttons. The cap retains a lovely shape with some spotting to the very top . The liner and leather sweatband also in good condition. Dark blue wall body with gilt bullion piping now heavily toned and with extensive damage to the front area, this probably through a long salty service time. A good clean example. Army khaki fur felt with press stud side button, single, fold khaki wool Puggaree with VDC color patch. Brown metal eyelets. Has a good liner intact with a Victorian factory maker mark and dated 1942. Complete with brown leather chinstrap.
