French 1822 Pattern Heavy Cavalry Troopers Sword

An extremely large and impressive sword. Bright slightly cureved steel blade. Four bar brass hilt with wire bound leather grip. Some wear to the lesther on the grip. There is what appears to be a stamp in Arabic to both ghe ricasso and the side of the brass guard. Probably locally made, hand embroidered. Not exactly a full size patch but not a miniature either and I’m sure that it was intended to be a full size patch. As well as being locally made in Egypt, India and Mesopotamia they were known to be also made by wives and girlfriends back in Australia and correct dimensions were not exactly known.
