Venezuela received 8,000 FN Model 1949 rifles from 1949-51. This was the first production order for the Model 1949 rifle.

Standard all steel ersatz German made bayonet. Probably a Turkish M1935 re-issue with Turkish Arabic markings markings on the cross guard. Interesting though, no Turkish alterations cut downs to the blade. Comes with all steel matching scabbard.  read more

Named to Lt - Colonel Charles Alfred Walker Anderson who was killed in action. A privately purchased telescopic example in painted brass. The base engraved “C A W Anderson” on the base.
