Turkish WW1 POW Beadwork Sash 1916

During World War I, Ottoman prisoners of war (POWs) in various camps often crafted beaded souvenirs as a means of earning money to supplement their rations and purchase essential items. These beadwork creations, often in the form of snakes, lizards, purses, belts, and jewelry, were a common form of trench art and a way for POWs to pass the time and supplement their meager supplies.

WW2 RAF Air Ministry Stop Watch 1940

A very nice Battle of Britain period example. The reverse marked with a large Air Ministry mark and the code “6B/117 “ over “795/40”. The back plate closes but doesn’t quite “click” closed. Knife bayonet for use with the 7.62 mm. Kalashnikov AK47 assault rifle.
A copy of the Russian 6X2 bayonet, the Bulgarian AK47 bayonet is distinguished most readily by the mottled brown grip scales and serial number perpendicular to the bayonet's long axis. Russian examples typically have the serial number running across the pommel at a 45 degree angle.
