British WW1 1907 Pattern “Hooked Quillon” Bayonet

A well aged example having overall heavy pitting to the blade and cross guard. Inspection / acceptance stampings. The maker name is now illegible. The year of manufacture visible (1912). Original wooden grips but has a large chip from one side. Working locking stud and. Ones with a good condition leather scabbard with tear drop frog stud.

Lovely clean example with nice original wooden grips, working locking stud and complete with its all steel scabbard. This example was made in Austria, by Steyr, in 1878. Steyr produced approximately 200,000 M1874 bayonets for France, marking them in French "Usine de Steyr" (Machines of Steyr) under government contract.  read more
