An immediate post WW2 example having all the traits of a WW2 one but this example dated 1947. In near unissued condition. Has brown bakelite AMF buttons and a lovely supple brown leather with khaki winter wool lining. The paper makers label still attached and dated 1947.

Khaki cotton drill material with two breast pockets and a standing closing collar. Has all detachable brass Kings crown general service buttons. WWI Turkish Model 1890 Mauser Bayonet with Leather Scabbard

Most of these long Sword bayonets were shortened in the 1920's to have 10" blades, more in line with the shorter bayonets coming into use around the world. This example however retains its original full 18" fullered blade, with an overall length of 23", and bears all Turkish markings to the ricasso of the blade and pommel.
