Germany WW2 Infantry Assault Badge- Textbook "Unknown Maker"

Text book "Unknown" maker. A nice example in zinc with a semi hollow reverse. Both the obverse and the reverse exhibiting much of the original silver frosting. The unmistakable hinge and "c" catch assembly was fastened by a cast pin /rivet system makes this an interesting variant.

Note : The "C" catch has been bent over.
