A very good clean example of the helmet designated "Helmet, Steel, MkII". Close to 2 million were produced by Commonwealth Steel. It was made with a raw edge unlike most other copies. The liner was made by Dunlop (Aust) Ltd.
This example fitted with a string camouflage net.

a 1960’s -1980’s manufactured award in almost immaculate condition.
A service award to serving members of the German Military post 1957 who were still in service and had been issued the original award during the 1939 to 1945 war period. The swastika has been replaced on the item with the Oak Leaves of the WW1 Iron Cross.  read more

Whilst this is an official government made and issue item it is doubtful that these were ever issued and certainly not worn by the AIF.
