Has all of its original khaki green painted finish, the leather and khaki cotton neck flaps are complete and undamaged retaining the buckle and strap. A good original liner but as usual the felt inner lining with some moth damage. 1942 dated on the red inside decal label. read more

A mid to late war example. Brown wool body with wicker mesh lining with printed ink characters.Fitted with its correct late war economy chinstrap. The separately applied wool star insignia looks to have been reapplied identified by a very small amount of clear glue to the edges just showing.
