A good clean example of the pattern first introduced for approval in 1879 by the Director of Artillery. Single bar hilt with working locking stud. The ricasso with issue date of 1893 and with the usual British acceptance stamps. Original knurled black leather grips in very good condition.

German WW1 Army M16 Steel Helmet
A very well preserved example of an original combat helmet. The steel shell still retains nearly all of its original green painted finish. Maker and size marking “N64” to the in sod flare. No chinstrap. Has its brown leather three pad M16 liner intact. This with minimal wear and still supple.
Overall a very good example. Now getting harder to find with liners. read more

Two sections of the same colour bottle green with an earth brown and a rust brown section defined by a thick black stripe. Makers and size stamp “TJ68” to the inside flare.
