German WW1 1918 “Cut Away” Helmet
A very rare example. Shell only, no liner. In what some people might almost say is a relic condition. I think it’s in between. The exterior of the shel have been extensively cleaned back to the base metal leaving the pitting of previous rust. The interior with a similar appearance but retaining a little of some probably post war green paint. There are no marking left to be seen.
